A 212 mile footpath - The Southern Upland Way, between Portpatrick on the Galloway coast and Cockburnspath on the east coast of Scotland, runs through the outer edge of our own woodland on the east side of Moffat Water. There are many local cycle routes both on the “all purpose road” alongside the M74 between Lockerbie and Abington, as well as the quiet country roads around the estate and Moffat.
